Dr. Francis Lee Silva
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Francis Lee Silva is one of our expert veterinary surgeons who graduated from a university in Veracruz, Mexico, and continued her postgraduate studies with a specialization in Internal Medicine and Surgery for Dogs and Cats. She’s also experienced in ultrasound and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Laura Masuet
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Laura Masuet is a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Barcelona, Spain, where she developed a deep interest in integrative medicine.
She further enhanced her expertise by obtaining certification in Western Veterinary Acupuncture from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS), enabling her to combine traditional veterinary practices with acupuncture techniques to offer comprehensive, holistic care to her patients. She is also a member of the Royal Veterinary College of the UK and is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
Dr. Laura is particularly interested in preventive care, emergency medicine, and feline health. She believes that regular check-ups and early diagnosis can significantly improve the well-being of animals, and she is passionate about educating pet owners on keeping their pets healthy and happy.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Laura advocates for animal welfare and actively volunteers with local animal shelters, helping to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned pets.
Outside her professional life, Dr. Laura enjoys horse riding and spending time with her family, as well as her seven rescue cats and two rescue dogs. She is known for her calm demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the personal care she provides to both her animal patients and their owners.

Dr. Aya Maher
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Aya Maher is a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian with over 10 years of experience in animal care and vet medicine. After graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Alexandria University in 2012, she has worked passionately in her field, helping animals and their owners thrive.
Currently, Dr. Aya works at Star Veterinary Clinic, where she specializes in Small Animal Care, Internal Medicine, and surgical procedures. Her approach combines expert knowledge with a compassionate touch, ensuring her patients receive the best care.
Outside of work, Dr. Aya enjoys staying updated on advancements in veterinary medicine. She also loves spending time with her family, exploring nature, practicing photography, and capturing the beauty of the world around her. She also loves experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen. Her hobbies reflect her curious spirit, which complements her professional dedication.

Dr. Inês Gomes
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Inês Gomes is a compassionate and highly skilled veterinary surgeon who graduated from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2014. With a genuine passion for animal care, she is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest standard of treatment.
She worked in Lisbon for four years early in her career, gaining valuable experience and fine-tuning her expertise. In 2018, she made the pivotal decision to move to Dubai, a choice she considers one of the best of her life. During her nearly four years at this branch, she built strong bonds with her patients and continued to grow professionally.
Dr. Inês is thrilled to return and eager to bring her knowledge and passion for veterinary care to continue delivering exceptional service to pets and their owners. Her primary areas of interest are dermatology, dentistry, and surgery. Dr. Inês is incredibly passionate about these fields and committed to offering her patients the highest level of care.
She believes that veterinary medicine is grounded in trust and expertise. Her ultimate goal is to ensure long, healthy lives for pets and their families.

Victorino C. Vega Jr
Head Groomer
Victorino has years of experience growing up with a family that was highly involved in the showing arena for various different breeds, which set him on a path for the showing sport back in the early '90s. Victor also became a breeder back in his home country around this time and, to date, is recognized for this.
Through the years, Victor went on to join a U.S.A. franchised dog club registry and became one of their conformation judges as well as their main head graphic designer. At the same time, Victor kept this passion and strived to learn more about dog breeds, breed standards, physical attributes for a healthy show dog, grooming guidelines, and more.
Victor is now our head groomer at Star Veterinary Clinics, with hundreds of happy clients under his belt.
